MindBody Therapist & Wellbeing CoachHi and welcome to my website - I am Sian Harcourt, specialist MindBody Therapist and Wellbeing Coach.
My work is all about helping people to move from surviving to thriving. The aim of my work is to help people deal with anything that is getting in the way of living the life they want to live and being the person they really want to be. To enable people to be healthier and happier, live authentically, to have ease, clarity, aliveness and inner strength. All of us will at times experience challenges, stress, illness and unwanted changes or happenings. Help with these can make a huge difference! Some of you will have experienced significant health issues, adverse childhood experiences, traumatic events which have an enormous impact. The right help with these makes such a difference be able to move through, heal, feel whole and move from surviving to thriving. We all can benefit from extra help in life especially to get through difficult times. To seek help takes courage. It is so worth finding the courage! I work holistically and my approach is respectful and collaborative. I encourage you to develop a strong and compassionate relationship with yourself - unconditional friendliness towards yourself. I know that warmth, caring and good connection are vital to effective MindBody Therapy and Wellbeing Coaching. I draw on my training in Integrative Psychology (Hakomi), Physiotherapy, Trauma Studies, Mind Body Psychotherapy, Coaching, Attachment Theory and my own life experiences. I have a Diploma of Integrative Psychology (Hakomi), Diploma of Physiotherapy MNZSP, Certificate in Life Coaching and I am a Hakomi Graduate. Prior to specialising as a MindBody Therapist and Wellbeing Coach I worked as a Physiotherapist incorporating Mind Body Medicine, Stress Management, Cranial-Sacral Therapy and Therapeutic Massage. Along side individual Therapy or Coaching, from time to time I offer workshops and soul-nourishing gatherings. You are welcome to contact me with any questions you have. It can be useful to start with one session to explore what it is like to work together - this is a good way to decide if we are a good fit. It is vital when working with a Coach or Therapist that the fit is right for you and that you feel understood, comfortable and respected. Your unique goals and wants will shape how we work together.
